When you write to us, include your organisation name, the product (KYT, KYC or the iPhone app), and any screening ID, case ID or request ID shown in the error. Never send us an API key.

Infinihash KYT for iPhone

The app gives your compliance team KYT on the phone: an alerts inbox, wallet screening by paste or QR code, case review, address monitors, and data-source and audit-trail checks. It needs an existing Infinihash KYT account.

Signing in

Create an API key in the KYT dashboard under API keys.
In the app, paste the key or scan its QR code, then tap Sign in. The app checks the key with KYT before saving it.
The key is stored only in the iPhone's Keychain. It is not synced to iCloud and is not restored from backups onto another phone.
If the key is revoked or rotated, the app signs out and asks for a new one.

Alerts and notifications

Turn on Background alerts in Settings to be notified about new monitor events, high-risk screenings and active cases.
iOS decides when background checks run, usually every 15 to 60 minutes while the phone is in use. Notifications are not instant. For real-time alerts, use KYT webhooks.
Turning alerts on for the first time does not notify you about older items. Only new ones are sent.

Cases and SAR steps

You can add notes, request an AI triage recommendation and close cases with a recorded disposition. Escalating a case to SAR, filing a SAR and closing a case on the SAR track need a signed-in BSA officer and a second reviewer, so those steps are done in the KYT dashboard. The app links you there.

Security

Turn on Lock with Face ID in Settings to require Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode when the app opens.
The camera is used only to read QR codes. Images are processed on the phone and are not saved or uploaded.
Signing out removes the API key from the phone.

Your data

Addresses you screen and actions you take on cases and monitors are sent to Infinihash KYT and kept in your organisation's account, under our privacy policy. The app does not use advertising or third-party analytics and does not track you. To delete your organisation's data or your account, email [email protected] from your account's email address.

Frequently asked questions

Which chains can I screen?: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Tron and Solana. The app detects the chain from the address format and lets you pick among EVM chains.
"KYT did not accept that key.": Copy the key again from the dashboard in full, with no spaces. Revoked keys and keys from another environment are rejected.
A screening says it is still running.: Some addresses are screened by a background worker. Pull down to refresh after a few seconds.
I'm not getting notifications.: Check that Background alerts is on in the app, that notifications are allowed for KYT in iOS Settings, and that Background App Refresh is on. Low Power Mode pauses background refresh.
